Jerusalem highlights tour

We start with a beautiful view of the city from Mt. of Olives, continue to the Old City, walk through the colorful bazaars to the Jewish Quarter, see the remains of the Roman road Cardo and the wall of Jerusalem from first temple era. Continue to the Western Wall, after join the Via Dolorosa, the remembered route where Jesus carriedthe cross on the way to be crusified. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - the believed place of crusifiction and the tomb of Jesus. We’ll finish the day in the lively Mahane Yehuda fruit and vegetable market of West Jerusalem.
In the footsteps of Jesus
We started the tour at Mt.of Olives with the best view of the city - we continue to the Garden of Gethsemane where according to the New Testament Jesus prayed before his arrest. Visit the church of St.Peter in Gallicantu - the house of the high priest, where Jesus was taken from Getsemane. Enter the Old City to visit the Western Wall - remain of the Second Temple western supporting wall - walk Via Dolorosa, the traditional route Jesus carried the cross to be crucified, the Church of the Holy Sepulchure, the place of crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus . We’ll end the day with a visit to Garden Tomb, which is according to some possible location for the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus.

Ancient underground Jerusalem

We'll head to the place where the history of Jerusalem started - City of David. We explore the archeological findings from the first temple era, learn about the ancient water system of the city and Warren's shaft, see Hezekiah's water tunnel from 700 B.C. and the even earlier Canaanite tunnel. Visit Pool of Siloam and walk on the 2000-year old Herodian road to southern excavations of the temple area. Explore the findings - including main entrance to the temple platform and ritual baths and visit the Western Wall. Continue to Zedekia's cave outside the Damascus Gate.
New Jerusalem
Israel Museum with the model of Second Temple period Jerusalem and the Dead Sea scrolls, also the best archeological collection of the country, Yad Vashem- Holocaust museum or David’s Tower museum - Jerusalem's history made to come alive with beautiful models and displays and a visit to Mahane Yehuda market -the main fruit and vegetable market of Jerusalem with authentic atmosphere, tastes and smells.
