Masada and the Dead Sea
Masada was the last stronghold during the Great Revolt against the Romans 66-70 AD. Amazing archeological finding include remains of palaces and the Roman siege ramp. We'll experience floating in the Dead Sea - the lowest place on the planet 430m/1300 feet below sea level with salinity of 30 percent.
Ein Gedi - Qumran- Swim-Baptismal site
Ein Gedi is a natural spring in the desert, the place mentioned in the bible when King David was hiding from Saul. Visit also Qumran-the palace of finding the Dead Sea Scrolls -oldest manuscripts of the Old Testament. Relax at the Dead Sea beach and experience the floating. We'll also visit the baptismal site Qasr El Yahud- the place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
