Ariel Sella moved to Israel from Finland at the age of 19. He comes from the small Finnish Jewish community, and is familiar with both diaspora culture and the Israeli way of living.
He lived in Jerusalem for 16 years after which he moved to Tel Aviv area.
He studied in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, has been guiding since 1990 groups and individuals from around the world.

He has served in both the Finnish and the Israeli armies and has also worked as a journalist.
His passions together with travelling are history, religions, World War II era, fishing and badminton.
